Operation WildNation Is Back!
Operation WildNation is back and CountryLife is on a mission to encourage the nation to explore and discover their inner scientist and learn about wildlife conservation.
‘Operation WildNation’ is a fun, free and engaging initiative with campaign ambassador and zoological educator, Sarah Sarsfield, which aims to educate children about wildlife conservation.
Together with CountryLife’s 14 award-winning garden centres and their passionate horticulturists, Sarah will be encouraging children, who hold the keys to the planet’s future, to become nature guardians.
FREE WILDNATION GUIDE
To help children learn how to explore and protect nature all around them, Operation WildNation also includes a free ‘WildNation Guide’ which is available for anyone to download. This handy guide will help children, parents, guardians and teachers alike uncover how they can protect Ireland’s natural habitats.
‘GO WILD’ CHALLENGE
We’re encouraging teachers, club leaders, parents and guardians to help primary school aged children express their views and love for nature by taking part in our ‘Go Wild’ challenge!
Open to all primary school aged schools & clubs (sports, scouts etc.), one group will win a talk from Zoological Educator and campaign ambassador Sarah Sarsfield, along with an Operation WildNation kit worth €500.
We also have additional prizes up for grabs for individuals who take part in the ‘Go Wild’ challenge!
