Series 2 Episode 4 DIY SOS: The Big Build Ireland The Sheridan Family

As Proud Plant Partners of the DIY SOS: The Big Build Ireland, Glanbia CountryLife is extremely honoured to have worked hand in hand with the shows garden designer, Peter Donegan. When it came to this DIY SOS garden in Waterford, there were two key parts to the design. The first part was safety; with a view to giving mom Laura piece of mind in her home and in her garden. The second was to create an engaging and enjoyable space for Laura’s three children. The choice of plants for this garden were again unique to anything done previously this season. Not wanting the fence to be the dominant feature of the garden, Peter’s design called for trees that were taller than the fence; complimented with a selection of shrubs. The garden also featured beautiful and hardy perennials.
